The Culture & National Heritage Sector at the Ministry of Culture & Information is organizing the 18th Bahrain International Music Festival (BIMF) to take place in October 2009, with the participation of top artists and orchestras in the world and Arabic.

The performance will commence at 8pm at the Cultural Hall adjacent to the National Museum, as follow:

• 10^th October - Simon Shaheen & Qantara -Oriental Jazz.

• 11^th October - Camarate Ducale -Classical Repertoire.

• 12^th October - Jahida Wehbe -Arabic Classic Songs.

• 13^th October - Rodolfo Mederos Trio -Tango Music.

• 14^th October - Trio Joubran -Oud/ Poetry.

• 15^th October - Duo Scaramouche -Piano / Video.

• 16^th October- Katia Guerreiro -Fadu Singer.
