     The Government Printing Press was established on 26 September 1987.  It carries out printing work for the Ministry of Information as well as other ministries and various quarters in the Kingdom.

     The Government Printing Press also contributes towards supporting authors and publishing, and provides all forms of support to the creative works of intellectuals and writers.

     The Government Printing Press includes many of the sections:

First: Production Department and includes the following:

  •  Artistic Direction Unit: This unit is the first step of the implementation of any action the Department of Production, where you created the idea of the work required by technicians in the field of art and design with technical expertise.
  • Camera unit: This unite is the second of the implementation of any action the Department of production, terms are extracted and the regular color films through the normal routes or through the new device.
  • Printing unit: In this unit is printed on all business through the new printing machines.
  • Bindery unite: This unit is the implementation of all the final stages of work and stapled magazines, books and the implementation of brochures, posters, cards and brochures .. And others.

second:Procurement Section and includes the following:

  • Accounts: Through this section you will be billing to customers and record all financial transactions in the books, as well as the work of the statement of account to customers at the end of each month.
  • Requests and Calculator: One of the functions of this section is the preparation of quotations and requests (requests for local purchase).
